You and I both know that we live in the greatest city in America.  From our beautiful, historic neighborhoods to the world class Texas Medical Center, Houston is a city steeped in tradition and always on the cutting edge.

As Houston braces for tougher economic times it's important that our city has leaders with new ideas, and the experience to being implementing them on day one.  This global recession has shown us that the old way of doing things just won't work in the 21st century.  My years as a public servant have taught me so much and I'm ready to use what I've learned to take our city in a new direction. 

Houston must revitalize its dated infrastructure, encourage positive growth and strengthen our police and first responder forces so that Houstonians stay safe. 

I hope I can count on your vote.  Our campaign is busy building a coalition of Houstonians from all walks of life and together, we will all work for a stronger Houston.
